A harpist with a long musical career, Vessela Trichkova has a Master's degree from the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music under Prof. Malina Hristova. As a student, she won a competition to participate in the sessions of the international youth orchestra Jeunesse Musicale in Sweden and Germany.
Since 2000 Vessela Trichkova has been playing a solo harp in the Sofia Philharmonic. He has many recordings as a soloist of various symphony orchestras - the Sofia Philharmonic, the BNR Orchestra, the Macedonian and Belgrade Philharmonic, the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, and many others. Her repertoire covers a wide repertoire, and her rich concert activity includes performances both on our and on many international stages, including London, Jerusalem, Paris, Moscow, Seoul.
In the 2017/2018 school year, Vessela Trichkova was a part-time harp teacher at the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School, but due to her busy schedule, she stopped working.
Apart from solo and orchestral music, the harpist also dedicates herself to chamber music. She is one of the founders of the first Bulgarian Harp Quartet, with which they give concerts in Sofia, Sozopol, and Paris. Vesela has many years of creative contact with the Sofia Soloists and has also partnered with some of the best Bulgarian flutists - Kremena Acheva, Yana Mihailova, Prof. Georgi Spasov.
