Michail Yossifov, trumpet
Mihail Yosifov is one of the most sought-after musicians in Bulgaria, both for studio recordings and live performances. Among the artists he has performed with are Mike Stern, Dave Weckl, Mezzoforte, DePhazz, Peter Herbolzheimer, Karen Bernod, Randy Brecker, Max Moya, Milcho Leviev, Theodosii Spassov, Angel Zaberski, Antoni Donchev, Hilda Kazasyan, and Hristo Yotsov.
Misho regularly participates in jazz, pop, and world music festivals across Europe. In 2009, he received the Crystal Lyre Award for Jazz Musician of the Year from the Union of Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers. Shortly after, he was also awarded the Golden Feather by Jazz FM and Classic FM for his significant contribution to Bulgarian culture.
In the summer of 2014, Mihail Yosifov was invited to join the world-renowned American ensemble Pink Martini on tour. Since then, for over three years, he has been a regular participant not only in their European tours but also in performances on some of the world’s most prestigious stages.
