Gergana Nestorova's creative path as a musician began at the local school in her hometown Nessebar. She continued her education at the National School of Music and Performing Arts "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Burgas in the piano class of Yulia Nenova, and then with Prof. Marina Kapatsinskaya as a student at the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov". After successfully graduating, Gergana Nestorova is currently a full-time assistant at the Piano Department in the Instrumental Faculty at the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" and a piano teacher at the National Music School "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia.
Gergana Nestorova has won awards from national and international competitions, among which "Nikolai Rubinstein" (Paris, 2006) "Karl Filtsch" (Sibiu, 2005), Award for the best performance of a concert with an orchestra from the Summer Music Academy in San Daniele , Italy in 2012, International Competition for Bulgarian and Japanese Music (Sofia, 2008), "Dimitar Nenov" (Razgrad, 2014).
In 2010, she completed a master class with Prof. Dmitri Bashkirov as part of the International Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria. Her concerts and performances include solo recitals, chamber ensembles and performances with orchestras such as Mozart Virtuoso Festival Orchestra - Tokyo, Sofia Philharmonic, Burgas Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra - Pazardzhik, "Symfonieta" Vidin, Shumen Philharmonic and Razgrad Philharmonic Orchestra.
