Vladimir Boshnakov is born in Pleven into a family of musicians. He graduates from the music school "P. Pipkov" in his hometown (1990) and has his master's degree in choral conducting and clarinet at the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" (1995), specializing in opera-symphonic conducting in the class of Prof. Vasil Kazandzhiev (1999-2001).
At the age of 25, he debuts on the stage of the Pleven Philharmonic in a concert with soloist Prof. Petko Radev. He conducts concerts of the philharmonics in Pleven, Plovdiv, Shumen, and Vidin, the chamber orchestra in Dobrich, opera performances in Varna, Burgas, Blagoevgrad, and performances of the Music and Drama Theater "K. Kisimov" Veliko Tarnovo, of which he is the chief conductor in the period 2005-2010. In 2002, he participates in the creation of the chamber orchestra "Studio Primo" and for 6 years he is its permanent conductor. With "Studio Primo" he performs countless concerts with famous soloists such as Vasko Vasilev, Svetlin Rusev, Yildiz Ibrahimova, Teodosiy Spasov, etc.
He works with the directors Ognyan Draganov, Prof. Plamen Kartalov, Prof. Svetozar Donev, Dimitar Sharkov, Mario Nikolov, and Hristina Angelakova. He conducts musical events at the festivals "Apolonia" (Sozopol) and Laureate Days "Katya Popova" (Pleven). Since 2012, he has been a conductor in the State Opera - Ruse and since 2018 in State Opera Stara Zagora too.
