Svilen Dimitrov

Svilen Dimitrov was born in Ruse. He graduated from the "Prof. V. Stoyanov" National School of Arts with violin. He was admitted to the Theoretical Faculty of the "Prof. P. Vladigerov" State Academy of Music, where he studied choral conducting with Prof. Lilia Gyuleva and opera-symphonic conducting with Prof. Ivan Marinov. Since 1997 he has been working with the "Danube Waves" Children's Choir. He is a conductor of the choirs and the orchestra of "Prof. V. Stoyanov" NSA, with which he has won awards at a number of international festivals and competitions. He conducts concerts with the Ruse Philharmonic, included in the Christmas Festival in Ruse. In 2013 he conducted the performances of Humperdinck's opera "Hansel and Gretel" on the stage of the State Opera Ruse. In 2014 with the Girls' Choir of the National School of Arts participated in the festival "March Music Days".

Since the 2015/2016 season he has been the chief conductor of the "Prof. Vasil Alnaudov" Choir, with which he regularly participates in the program of the "March Music Days" I. F. and performs a number of successful concerts and projects, including "Orpheus and Eurydice" by Gluk, "Gloria" by A. Vivaldi, "Magnificat" by John Ruther, and others.
