The final concert of the March Music Days on October 3 became a shared celebration of the spirit. After a 16-year absence from the festival stage in Ruse, the Bulgarian opera prima Krassimira Stoyanova triumphantly returned as a soloist of the Ruse Festival Orchestra with the famous "Four Last Songs" by Richard Strauss. Maestro Emil Tabakov was on the conductor's stand. She dedicated her performance to the memory of the vocal pedagogue and choir activist Georgi Deliganev, with whom Ruse broke up two weeks ago.

"Ruse is a special attraction for me. In order for a person to understand what I am saying, he must have been here for at least three days, "said the soprano. According to her," Last Four Songs "is a serious and special work. It's a lifetime, and each song is like a little story that has to be very fascinating to lead the audience after the musicians.

In the same program was the other big event during the international festival this year - the world premiere of the Violin Concerto, written by Emil Tabakov especially for the Ruse Festival Orchestra and violinist Svetlin Rusev.

The Ruse Festival Orchestra is a project that carries the deep and lasting ties between different generations of musicians who made their first professional steps at the National School of Arts "Prof. Veselin Stoyanov" in the Danube city. The orchestra was established in 2010 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the school.
71 musicians from four continents arrived especially for the event. Of these, 52 are alumni of the school and the remaining 19 are friends.

The program of the 60th MF "March Music Days" offered 18 symphony and chamber concerts, many new names, star debuts of artists from the European and world music scene, as well as exciting meetings with favorite and expected artists from Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, Slovenia, Great Britain, Korea and others.
