The opera "Mephistopheles" for the first time on the Russian stage

The modern reading of Arigo Boyto's work fascinated and impressed the connoisseurs of opera and was greatly applauded by the festival audience. The director of the performance is Jean-François D'Ont, the conductor is Sunay Muratov, the scenography is by the artist Ivan Tokadzhiev, and the costumes are by Anna-Maria Tokadzhieva. In the image of Mephistopheles was the Ruse bass Emil Zhelev, the role of Elena was entrusted to the soprano Tsvetelina Vasileva, and the tenor part of Faust was performed by Peter Kostov. The choir, the orchestra and the ballet of the State Opera - Ruse took part in the performance.
