These small windows, called paintings, to the mystery of the human soul, do not seem to have been painted, but were born in some alchemical laboratory in which the artist seeks the philosophical meaning of the eternal questions with which people come and go. An artist who knew the vain deception of the visible has touched with simple and pure plastic means something preserved only in the memory of the heart. And the heart never lies!

Volodya Kenarev was born in 1951 in Ruse. He graduated in Painting from the National Academy of Arts in 1978. He is one of the few Bulgarian artists working in the genre of hyperrealism, and his characteristic miniature paintings are his recognizable style. The artist's work enjoys numerous fans and is a passion of many collectors in Bulgaria, USA, Japan, Switzerland, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, Argentina, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, China, India and others. In 2004, he was elected a member of the Board of Advisors of the American Biographical Institute. He was included in the 2004 edition of "Who's Who" at the same institute at the Library of Congress and in the "2000 notable intellectuals of the 21st century" - published by the Cambridge International Biographical Center, England. He lives and works in Ruse.
