The concert "Return to Romanticism" with the participation of the Ruse Philharmonic presented an all-Russian program with two famous works by Tchaikovsky - "Rococo Variations for Cello and Orchestra" and Symphony No. 5. The soloist was the talented cellist Atanas Krastev, and Ruse Ivo Venkov was on the conductor's desk. "Tchaikovsky is my favorite composer - one of the most human," said the maestro, who has been building a successful career in Belgium for years and is a professor of orchestral conducting at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp. and an emotional return to Romanticism with Tchaikovsky's music.
