Simon Trpcheski wins admiration not only for his impressive virtuosity and deep expressiveness, but also for his charismatic stage presence. Born in 1979 in Macedonia, he graduated from the Music School at the University of St. Cyril and St. Methodius ”in Skopje. Entering the international stage 20 years ago as an artist of the New Generation of the BBC, he made an incredibly fast career that does not set any cultural or musical boundaries. He plays with over a hundred orchestras from 4 continents, incl. London Symphony Orchestra, French National Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw, German Symphony Orchestra - Berlin and Dresden Philharmonic. In the United States, he has often performed with the orchestras of Cleveland and Philadelphia, with the Philharmonic Orchestras of Los Angeles and New York, San Francisco, St. Louis, Seattle, and Baltimore. He has also played with orchestras in Japan, Seoul, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and New Zealand.
With the support of Macedonia's leading art and culture organization KulturOp, Simon Trpcecki regularly works with young musicians from Macedonia, encouraging the talent of the younger generation of artists. In 2009, he received the Presidential Order of Merit for Macedonia, which is awarded to foreign and local eminent personalities who have contributed to the establishment of Macedonia abroad. In 2011, he was the first in the country to receive the title of "People's Artist of Macedonia".
